FRANK'S FOUNDING
How Alicia Garage Doors Started in South OC
Frank Bullard launched Alicia Garage Doors in 1981. At the time, there were only two garage door companies in all of South Orange County. That’s not a footnote โ that’s what it means to build something in a community before the market was crowded.
Aaron grew up in the business. He was handing Frank tools before he could drive. He worked other jobs over the years โ the Home Depot lumberyard, seasonal forest firefighting with Cleveland National Forest โ but when his daughter was born in 2004, he came back to the trade. He took over from Frank in 2015.
That lineage shows up in how Aaron works in Lake Forest and South OC today.
AARON'S VOICE
In Aaron's Own Words
“What’s important to me is that I know everything about the garage door is working correctly, smoothly, and efficiently. That’s why I do the 21-point inspection โ to make sure they don’t call me for some random problem in a day or a week. I want them to call me back for a referral.”
“I like helping people when their car is stuck in the garage. I fixed it for them so they can go to work. And I like to fix the problem first before I say they need a new opener or door.”

CARINA'S PERSPECTIVE
Carina Bullard
“We take pride on being able to save people money when other companies tell the customer to replace โ because it’s easier to replace something rather than taking the time to repair it. Our customers love the fact that Aaron is honest about what really needs to be replaced.”

WHAT FAMILY-OWNED ACTUALLY MEANS
What Family-Owned Actually Means for Lake Forest Homeowners
There’s no office staff, no dispatcher, no rotating crew of strangers.
Aaron is the business. He picks up the phone. He drives the truck to your Lake Forest home. He does the inspection. He fixes the door.
When something goes wrong, you call Aaron. Not a 1-800 number. Not a ticket system. Aaron.
That’s what family-owned means. Not a marketing angle. The owner’s name is on the truck and he’s in your driveway.
PROOF STORY
What "Honest" Looks Like
A Lake Forest homeowner called three garage door companies. All three quoted her a new door โ around $3,000. She called Aaron. He diagnosed the actual problem and fixed it for a fraction of that cost.
“This is what makes me happy,” Aaron says. “Saving people money.”
That story isn’t exceptional. That’s how Aaron works on every call.
